1. Add Your Local Music Folders
Open the Folder section in Sonikr Media Hub and select the local music folders you want to add. Sonikr will scan the selected folders and add the available music to your library.
Once the scan is complete, you can start exploring your collection without having to move all your original music files into a new folder structure.
2. Browse and Play Your Music
Sonikr offers several ways to explore your music library, depending on how you prefer to find your next track.
- AlbumsBrowse albums by artwork and play your favorite tracks.
- ArtistExplore your collection by artist to find music from the musicians and bands you enjoy.
- TracksBrowse individual songs and play a specific track.
- LibraryView recently played music, albums and artists in one place.
These views make it easier to navigate your collection without opening folders one by one.
3. Create Playlists and Manage Favorites
Want to organize music for different occasions? Sonikr lets you create playlists directly from the Playlists section. Give a new playlist a name, or select the songs you want first and create a playlist from your selection.
You can also add songs, artists, or albums you love to Favorites. Visit the Favorites section whenever you want to revisit your saved music without searching through your entire collection.
4. Access Your Music Remotely
Want to listen to your collection when you're away from home? Sonikr's Remote Access feature lets you connect to your music library through a compatible music player on another device.
Enable Remote Access in Settings and use the connection details to connect your player. Your host computer must remain running and connected to the internet, and sign-in is required. 5. Share Music with Temporary Links
Sonikr lets you share selected tracks, albums, or playlists through temporary links. Select the music, choose Share, set an expiration time, and decide whether downloads are allowed. Click Create and Copy to generate your link.
